Coach James Harper played college basketball at the University of South Florida.  During his time at USF, he held records as season leader in blocks, field goals, and rebounds.

He went on to play professional basketball in the Euroleague (Lebanon, Australia, and France) and is currently the assistant coach at Evans High School, which played for the Div 7A State Championship in the 2012-2013 season.
